Web Server Environment

Younger Associates employs all of the latest hosting technologies and regularly performs updates to ensure maximum compatibility and security. Our server is connected through a shared network of multiple OC-3 network connections utilizing Cisco high bandwidth routers. A team of network engineers monitors our server 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and our server is under constant security camera surveillance.

The Personal Hosting Package

Younger Associates provides access to 24 hour e-mail and hosting troubleshooting through our server administration company. During normal business hours, e-mail and hosting questions are handled by our in office staff, not an automatic answering system. We are committed to resolving any e-mail or hosting issues you may encounter and will work with you until they are resolved.

Server Backup

Younger Associates currently backs up the server to an out of town live redundant server. This redundant server is ready to go live if disaster were to strike. Furthermore, our server is incrementally backed up to an external hard drive. While it is the client’s responsibility to maintain copies of all of their files locally, Younger Associates takes every precaution to ensure that your data is safe.

E-mail Hosting

When you switch your hosting to Younger Associates, you can take advantage of our superior e-mail hosting. You can easily access your e-mail using either a traditional e-mail client or via our webmail system from anywhere in the world. Younger Associates employs industry standard spam and virus filtering on all of our e-mail accounts. E-mail distribution lists are also available for all domains upon request.

Web Hosting Environment

The Younger Associates server operates under a Linux environment. Server files are available to clients via ftp user accounts upon request. Hosting technologies employed on the server include: PHP, MySQL and CGI.

Web Statistics for Measuring Effectiveness

Younger Associates provides a daily web statistics report for all sites that we host. This web based report is extremely useful in measuring a website’s effectiveness and is a valuable tool for future web improvements. Among the information provided is:
